***

Crowley's fucking with Heaven. Aziraphale thinks it's funny. Michael's getting pissed off. Poor Theodoniel just wants her phone to stop making noise.

Summary:
"What do you think? I found them when I was going through some old things. They're in remarkably good shape for being over two hundred years old, wouldn't you say?"

"Uh." Crowley shook himself. "Yeah, sure. Good shape. You know that outfit nearly got you killed, angel? You do remember that part?"

"But it didn't." Aziraphale beamed at him. "Thanks to a very wily demon."

***

Aziraphale finds a very familiar outfit while he's going through his things, and decides to try it on. Crowley likes it.

Crowley sighed. "Something wrong with your wings?"

"Oh, nothing's wrong with them, exactly, it's just," Aziraphale made a face, "trying to get them back in order."

"You're never going to get it flapping like that." Crowley shot one last warning glare at the rosebushes and got to his feet. "Here, I'll do it."

Summary:

"How long can you stop it?"

"Two minutes?" Crowley said after a moment of consideration. "Maybe three. Could do longer, but I'm a bit worn out. And too much longer might be noticed."

Aziraphale nodded. So they'd have two minutes to make their switch, two minutes where Heaven and Hell wouldn't be able to see that they were doing.

After Armagedidn't, Crowley freezes time so they can make the swap, but Aziraphale has a confession to make before they do.

Excerpt:

Crowley was nervous.

Well, Aziraphale supposed he didn't actually know Crowley was nervous, but the demon had been fidgety ever since he'd walked into the bookshop. He'd been ambling through the shelves, picking books up and leafing through them before putting them down again, poking at the little curios Aziraphale had sitting around, and muttering under his breath. It should not have been terribly distracting—Aziraphale had long ago learned to tune out minor disruptions of that sort—but Crowley was so very good at being distracting.

After another five minutes of this nonsense, Aziraphale set aside the book he'd been perusing and addressed it directly. "Crowley, what on earth is going on?"

Crowley startled and jerked his hand away from the statue he'd been prodding. "Huh? What makes you think something's going on?"

Aziraphale sighed. "Because you haven't stopped moving for more than twenty seconds since you got to the shop, and that usually means you have something on your mind. What is it?"

Excerpt:

Crawly’s eyes snap open and he coughs, spitting water out of his mouth. He doesn’t need to breathe, technically, but great lungfuls of water are not good things for a mostly human body. He retches again.

He is not, obviously, outside, which is the last place he remembers being. Instead, he’s lying on a wooden floor in what looks like a small storage area. By the smell of things, he’s back on the ark.

“Oh, thank heaven,” a relieved voice says above him.

Crawly rolls onto his back with a groan. “Pretty sure they didn’t have anything to do with it.”

It’s then that he realizes it’s the angel standing over him, wringing his hands, white-blond curls plastered to his forehead.

“Aziraphale?” Crawly asks incredulously. “What the—”

He breaks off into coughing again and a shiver wracks his body. He’s freezing.

So I've been mostly MIA because I've been hard at work finishing my second [community profile] fandomtrumpshate fic and also spending way too much time on Discord. However, since I finished the aforementioned auction fic this weekend (which clocked in at a stunning 50,618 words for the first draft), I'm now getting caught up on posting some of the shorter fics I wrote to give myself a break while I was in the middle of that.

This particular fic was inspired by a discussion in the Ace Omens Discord server about whether Aziraphale had ethereal markings like the other angels. Personally, I liked the idea of him having one where no one else could see it, and of course, I really liked the idea of Crowley seeing it.

888 words, established relationship, fluff.

Later, Crowley will wonder how he went so long without finding out.

He's curled up in bed, dicking around on his phone, when Aziraphale comes in to get changed. It's only been a week or so since they've moved in together; Crowley still pinches himself sometimes when he wakes up to see Aziraphale sitting in their bed with a cup of coffee and his fussy little glasses perched on his nose while he reads.

Crowley looks up from his phone with the intention of saying something and his voice freezes in his throat.

He knows the Archangels, at least, have ethereal markings—glinting gold marks on their skin. He's always assumed Aziraphale didn't have any, being a Principality.

Now, looking at Aziraphale's bare back for what is apparently the first time in six thousand years, Crowley sees he was wrong. He was so very, very wrong.

Title: Nightmares
Fandom: Good Omens
Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley
Word count: 1730
Characters: Aziraphale, Crowley
Rating: T
Excerpt:

Crowley should've expected nightmares.

To be fair, he's been much more concerned with whether their respective sides will actually leave them alone than with any potential psychological ramifications of their executions, so it probably shouldn't be entirely surprising that the first one catches him...well, by surprise.

He's napping on the couch in the bookshop and wakes with a start, jerking hard enough that he almost topples right to the floor. His heart is racing, every sense on high alert, and it takes him a few moments to sort out that there isn't anything to fear in the bookshop in the middle of a Wednesday afternoon.

"Crowley, dear?" Aziraphale stands up from his desk and comes over. "Are you all right?"

Crowley sniffs, tastes the air, trying to see what it is that has him so on edge, what must've crept into his subconscious while he was asleep, but there's nothing out of the ordinary. "Er, yeah. Fine."

Aziraphale frowns, but he doesn't press. "Shall we get some lunch?"

Crowley's not really hungry, but the idea of lunch with Aziraphale appeals even more than it usually does. "Sure. Sushi?"

Aziraphale's eyes light up at the prospect, and Crowley forgets what was bothering him so much.

Title: In Other Words, Baby, Kiss Me
Fandom: Good Omens
Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley
Word count: 4684
Characters: Aziraphale, Crowley
Rating: T
Summary: Five times Aziraphale kissed Crowley and one time Crowley (finally) kissed him back.
Excerpt:

It was about two weeks after the apocalypse-that-wasn't that it happened the first time. They were in the park, as usual, Aziraphale sitting on the right side of the bench, tossing bread crumbs into the water, while Crowley slouched on the left. Crowley supposed they didn't really need to meet in the park anymore, given that their meetings were no longer particularly clandestine, but after so many years, it was practically force of habit.

Besides, the ducks would probably miss them.

Aziraphale threw the last handful of crumbs to the small crowd of ducks gathered in front of them and tucked his bag away. There was a flurry of feathers and splashing water as the ducks fought for a mouthful.

Crowley was rather enjoying the whole spectacle when a mother and eight ducklings came swimming up to the edge of the crowd.

Aziraphale's blue eyes grew wide in faint horror. "Crowley, have you got any more bread?"

Crowley held out his empty hands. "Already gave it away."

Aziraphale looked crestfallen. "Oh." He turned to the ducks. "But they're just babies."

He slid his gaze back to Crowley, eyes wide and pleading.

Over six millennia, Crowley had come to realize that there were very few constants in the whole of existence. One was that people throughout all of human history were capable of great good or great evil all on their own without any supernatural nudging whatsoever.

Another was that when Aziraphale gave him that look, Crowley was utterly incapable of telling him no.

Summary: "Crowley," Aziraphale said quietly, so as not to disturb him if he'd already fallen asleep.

Crowley jerked his head up. "What? What happened?"

Aziraphale sighed. "Nothing happened, my dear. I just wanted to say..." Why was this so hard to admit? "You can rest your head on my shoulder. If you'd like. I know you're tired and it can't be comfortable bouncing around like that."

So I rambled a not!fic in the tags of this post and then had two separate people ask me for a full fic. I have enough other stuff to write, so I was going to say no, but let’s be real, the amount of prompting I need right now to write a Good Omens fic is approximately zero.

Rating: G
Summary: "What did you do?"

"What kind of a question is that?" Crowley tried to sound wounded, although he knew damn well what he'd done. "I just came to congratulate you on your shop." He brandished the box. "Look, I brought chocolates."

(Or, an addition to the deleted scene from 1800.)

Read it on AO3.

OH LOOK I fell into another new fandom. XD

This is an addition to the deleted scene from 1800, where Heaven was going to promote Aziraphale off Earth, and Crowley faked a conversation to get Gabriel to leave him alone. The scene ends with Aziraphale alone in his bookshop after Gabriel has informed him he's not going back to Heaven, and I was just like... okay but does Aziraphale figure out Crowley had something to do with him staying? Does Crowley bring back the chocolates? Inquiring minds need to know! (Meaning me. I need to know.)

A huge thanks to [twitter.com profile] paintedrecs for the beta read and the title help.
