In your own space, talk about an idea you wish you had the time / talent / energy to do.
Hahaha my idea bucket, she runneth over. I try to throw everything that makes me go "oooooo!" into a Trello board so that I won't lose the ideas, and then I come back to them later and kind of whittle down to what I'll actually write. Several things, however, will probably just live in the idea file eternally.
I already mentioned my Giant Fucking Mall AU, which will probably never be written because as you can tell by the name, it's huge. My vague plans were for three main stories, each centering around a different pairing (Stiles/Derek from Teen Wolf, Keith/Shiro from Voltron: Legendary Defender, and Kotetsu/Barnaby from Tiger & Bunny), with as many ridiculous short stories in between as my little heart desired. The whole thing would've kicked off with a short(er) story featuring Boyd and Erica (also from Teen Wolf), as the inciting incident for the friendship between the suit shop and the nerd store, and then a (much later) story would've had them getting married. The size of it is the big reason it'll probably never get written, because I've reread some of the bits I'd yelled about with a friend and holy shit it still makes me laugh.
Another big idea is what would have been the final story in my Alpha & Emissary series. I'd originally planned for five stories, two short stories and three long ones, but when it took me five years to write the third story in that series, I marked the series complete (I promise, no cliffhangers, it works as-is) and moved the last two intended stories waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to the back burner. Much as I love Sterek, I feel like I burned myself out on them and Teen Wolf in general with how much I wrote for them in a fairly short amount of time. I finished Chaos Rising mostly out of sheer dogged determination. I guess for this one, it's more I wish I had the time and the spark again to finish off another 50k fic, but I'm not sure I do.
